**Ellora's Cave Twilight Series**
Stephanie has three rules when it comes to her relationship with werewolves Shaw and Jordan—keep their lusty encounters casual, never invade each other’s space and no biting. The boys have always seemed perfectly fine with all that, leaving her plenty of time to do her magick and keep her shop going.
Her rules come back to haunt her when the local pack leader gives Jordan and Shaw an ultimatum—find a mate or find another city to live in. Jordan and Shaw hate having to ask Stephanie to help them find a mate. She’s not just their best friend, she’s the hottest lover they’ve ever had. The boys will have their hands full convincing Steph that rules are made to be broken, before it is too late.
This was a great short read. I don’t want to give too much away in the review.
Jordan and Shaw are put in a hard spot they have to ask their lover and best friend, Stephanie, to help them find a mate or they have to leave the pack. Shaw doesn’t have the best of timing asking her to help them and she is emotionally hurt. She agrees to help them find their mate and in doing so the boys realize they made a mistake. They try to woo her back in a way that they think will knock her socks off and boy were they off on that one.
The boys are persistent at trying to convince Steph that she is their mate but she does a good job at resisting. She does not believe she is or even can be their mate since she is not a werewolf. Want to find out if Steph is their true mate and if the boys were able to convince her of that? I guess you will have to pick up a copy of the book and check it out.
Wendy doesn’t need any help to get rid of her evil ex. As a cop, she can handle anything life throws at her. In fact, she’s sure of it, even when trying to capture the ex alone puts her friends in danger. Too bad local werewolf alpha Brett has different ideas. He doesn’t care if Wendy wants to be a lone wolf. He has to protect all the werewolves in his town. Including her. Especially her.
Wendy finds Brett irritating, overbearing and sexy beyond belief. Brett thinks Wendy is trouble with a capital T, and hotter than the dog days of summer. Butting heads can be fun, but there are other ways to rub against each other. Intimate, lusty ways. These two sexy shapeshifters are playing to win.
This book picks up were Mating Call leaves off. Wendy set Steph up on a date with Mike, the EMT, when Steph thinks Shaw and Jordan are looking for their mate. Mike is attacked by Wendy’s ex, who exposes her to the local werewolf alpha, Brett. Wendy wants no part of a pack. However, Brett is adamant that she is in his territory she is in his pack. He wants her as his and to protect her. Brett has his hands full convincing Wendy to stay with him and let him protect her and stay with the pack. She is strong willed and stubborn determined to take care of her ex on her own without Brett’s or the packs help.I loved Wendy’s strong will and stubbornness and how she tried to fight her instincts to not be part of a pack. I enjoy it when the heroine is a fierce fighter able to hold her own and not the helpless type. I don’t want to give away too much in the review as this was a short but good read
