"Alpha heroes you'll want to kidnap and keep, heroines to root for, and sizzling love scenes with emotional punch." Carly Phillips, NY Times Bestselling Author
Greg Cage was born to protect. While growing up, he was his mother and sister’s shield against the world… until he failed. For the last decade, he has carried that guilt and need for vengeance around… until it was stripped from him. Now, with his best friend getting married and no longer needing his protection, he is even more lost, completely adrift, and desperate for some control. All he has ever known was how to protect: his family, his friends, and his country. Can he go against everything he has ever known, and give up that control?
Melissa Larson will never let anyone hold the reins in her life. She has been the rock in her family for more years than she can remember, and the fight to keep them together is her main priority right now. She has always been fiercely independent and proud. The last thing she will ever do is ask for someone else’s help. But when that choice is out of her control, forcing her to rely on others to save her and her family, and pick up the pieces that are left, will she be able to let someone else be her strength?
The second Greg locks eyes with Meli, he knows that she is someone he needs. Someone he craves. Meli knew the second she met Greg that he would be nothing but trouble and heartache. Her life takes an unexpected turn, and that bitch Fate is back to wreak more havoc on another member of the Corps family.
All hell breaks loose, leaving Greg no choice but to call in a favor. He hooks back up with his old friend Braxxon Breaker from the Breakneck MC. Together, they make sure that nothing threatens anyone Greg loves again.
CAGE is a complete story with a HEA.
Brenda's Review --
I was privileged enough to be a beta reader for this book!! All I can say is....I fell in love with Greg Cage in Axel....I now am infatuated by him!! He is the epitome of Alpha Male... HOT, protective, tough, HOT, cool as hell, loves kids, HOT, loves with his whole heart, oh and super HOT!!
I mean seriously, look at those eyes!!! oh my!!!
Wow!! Where to begin with Greg Cage. I fell in love with him in Axel. His big brother alpha persona in Axel was a big hit with me. He wasn't looking to get sexually involved with these girls he needed to protect, he just needed to take care of them.
Now in Cage, we get his reason for his need to "protect". He's had a tragedy in his life that he feels very guilty for. Now he wants to protect any female that he cars about.
Cage is not a one-woman guy....and with looks like his (holy hotness) he has no problem finding them...Hell, he doesn't need to find him! They are dropping in front of him! Girls don't tell him NO, and when you see him, you know WHY!!
In walks Melissa into his life....He is immediately drawn to her. Melissa (Meli) has had her own share of tragedy and is not interested in finding a man..... no matter how attractive!!
Of course Cage cannot figure out why this woman will not succumb to him....all the others do. So this challenges him. and boy, he gets a challenge!!
THIS BOOK IS HOT AND STEAMY!!! HOLY CRAP!!! If you thought Axel was hot and steamy (and he was) - then watch out, cuz your kindle may just combust!!!
There's also a lot of emotional scenes in the story! I was, at one point, sobbing my eyes out!! soo touching!!!
Anyway....what are you still reading this for....go....one-click now!!!
Oh we're to start. I absolutely loved this book.....hot alpha guys, chic with attitude, then there is Sway (god I love him cracks me up).
This starts with Greg taking Nate to the Doctor's Office, as a favor to Izzy, and meeting the Hot nurse, Melissa, with Nate's puke all over his shirt. Nothing like making a great first impression. I love the fact Cage calls Melissa "Beauty" because after several run ins with her he still has yet to get her name. Melissa is great no whinny, wimpy girl here. She puts up with Mandy, who is Greg's old cray cray F**k buddy and seems to put her in her place on their first meeting. Which brings me to my First favorite line which comes from Melissa right after she puts Mandy on the dance floor at the bar and gives her a piece of her mind.
"You do not look at me. You do not talk to me. You definitely do not touch me. Now, get your ass off the floor. You look ridiculous."
Melissa has things going on in her personal life that she doesn't want to get involved with Cage but as we all know like any other great alpha male Greg is having no part of that. He gets her to open up to him and when she unloads, her family demons haunt him.
I absolutely love seeing the interactions between Sway and the guys. I was laughing out loud while reading the entire sidewalk glitter painting scene. I found myself secretly wishing there were more scenes with Sway. Seeing Greg interact with Melissa’s nephew, Cohen, the whole red cape and ninja scene made me fall in love with Greg.
This book took me on an emotional roller-coaster ride from laughing like a hyena to balling my eyes out. There were twists I didn't see coming and we meet a friend of Cage's...I'm going to have to find out more about that man. I loved how we get to see the badass and loving caring side of Greg Cage. I am ready to see more of these wonderful mysterious men in the upcoming books.
Both Melinda and Brenda rate this book 5 stars!!!! and Harper, I know you're reading this...... SWAY ALSO GETS 5 STARS!!! How could anyone NOT love glitter!!! We want a story for Sway!!!!

Harper lives in small town Georgia just a short drive from her hometown of Peachtree City. She (and her 3 daughters) enjoy ruling the house they dubbed 'Estrogen Ocean', much to her husband’s chagrin. Harper has a borderline unhealthy obsession with books; you can almost ALWAYS find her with her ereader attached. As an ex-reviewer and blogger, Harper's passion for reading runs deep. It wasn't until 'Axel' decided to take up residence that she realized her true calling.
She started using writing as a way to unwind when the house went to sleep at night; and with a house full of crazy it was the perfect way to just relax. It didn't take long before a head full of very demanding alphas would stop at nothing to have their story told.
